My Fireflies

Hi fireflies,

So I've finally seen my video in a "mainstream" environment!!! I can't believe McDonald's on 42nd Street in New York City has accepted my video and is playing it every hour!!! OMG!!! It was sooo cool. I was there for maybe 30 minutes and saw Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Grease, West Side Story and then came...Melissa Otero!!! OMG!!! WOW! What an honor to be surrounded by some of my idols and have my video play there. It was like watching MTV and sipping on a diet coke. It was weird! Never seen  my music or even music video play in such an environment. Thanks fireflies for your support and thanks to the entire crew that worked their booty off in making this video!!! YEY!!!

Hey fireflies,

So I was told today that the McDonalds on 42nd Street (Between 7th and 8th Ave) in NYC is gonna include my music video "10:40pm" amungst their other music videos they play throughout the day! Do you know what this means?!!! This means that TONS of NYC people will be checking it out and listening to my music while they eat a Big Mac! OMG! SOOO AWESOME!!! lol. They are gonna start playing it as of June 30th. YEY!!!

On other news, I'm still waiting on the date NBC will air the video...I hope it's sometime during the summer. Yup. :P

So the site has opened. I know some things have errors but we are working on it. We just wanted to let you guys poke around while we continue to add things to it.

I wanted to ask you guys what you guys think so far of the site. Do you like it? What other content would you like to see on it? ;) Let me know so we can work on making this site the best site for you! :)

I also wanted to tell you guys I have two blogs. One at http://melissaotero.wordpress.com and the other is this one right here. On occasion I will post only here because I want to give you guys some extra insights on things that are going on because I consider you guys extra, super duper special to me.

Thanks so much for your support. It really means the world to me. I'm so excited to start the tour next week and can't wait to get to meet you guys! It will be so much fun! I promise to bring you the best show I can give. Yup!

Well, I'm off to bed for now. Got more work tomorrow to prepare for the shows.
